Kids for Kids concert

On an awesome night we had an awesome performance that we had to go to because it was very important and most of the class was there. It was called Kids 4 Kids. Kids 4 Kids is about supporting poor people in other countries and giving them food and water.

Just before we went first we went on to a trip to the Kids for Kids 
Rehearsal and then we had to do add some action's in to some of the songs. Some of the songs didn't have any action's into it and it was amazing. 

Maths Reflection

In  maths today I was learning my fraction’s. We had done different kinds of fractions because we had to show our teacher that we could prove to her we can do our fractions so we can go onto another learning intention. We had to go get our maths book and a pencil and go and sit using our group scrapbook and work out the fractions then we had to give it to Miss G to mark. I am stage 3 and the group I am in is Super Squares for our Fractions work.

St Pius. X Feast day.

Yay St Pius X feast day is today and I can’t wait until we celebrate it. In the morning we had mass to celebrate his feast day and it was raining. Mrs Denny didn’t know how to go to church, Mrs Pole came and asked Mrs Denney and Mrs Denney said “no I don’t know yet”. We saw Kilisitina and she told us that we had to go through the office near the toilet run to church. Mrs Denney put us into lines and it was boy, girl. Mr Gaffney’s class was in front of us. We had to go through the back door because if we went to the front door we would be wet. When we went inside Room 7 was already there and room 6. After church we went to the hall as the rain had stopped and we had a birthday cake to celebrate St Pius’ feast day. It was a yummy banana cake. The Assumption

We celebrate the Assumption because it is Mary’s Heavenly birthday. Mary’s birthday is on the fifteenth of August. After Mary had died no one knew if she went to Heaven. Then Pope Pius had told the people that Mary’s body and soul had gone to Heaven.

The Rainbow Bird

Once upon a time in South America in the forest there was heaps of brown birds and they wanted to be colourful. They looked at the nature and they got jealous of the nature because it was colourful. They would go and pick lemons and rub it on their skin but the rain would come and take it off. 

One day rain came and after that a rainbow showed in the sky. The birds stared at the sky for a moment, then the rainbow went away and then it came up again it was dirty, the birds were shocked. A magical thing came up and the birds were wondering what that shiny thing was. and his name was Phoenix.

Then after that they fought the roaches and the rainbow became new again. They flew through the rainbow and became colourful and were very happy.
