The Amazon Rainforest

The Amazon rainforest holds geographical significance because it's a home to many species of living plants and animals. The rainforest is also known as the "Lungs of the Pacific" because the rainforest releases fresh oxygen which helps the animals to live. 50% of all living species are all living in the rainforest. In the rainforest, there are a lot of plants. Half of the trees/plants that are in the rainforest are trees that use to grow fruits and other foods. While the rest of the other trees/plants are used to make a lot of different medicines that cure cancer.
