The Rosary

The Rosary is a prayer that you say. You say 1 Our Father and 10 Hail Mary’s then 1 Glory Be.

There’s beads that you can count for saying the 10 Hail Mary’s and the 1 Our Father then 1 Glory Be.

There’s a picture of Mary and Jesus at the back of the medal and there is a crucifix at the bottom.

Squash

Wow on our new kiwi sport for term 4 is Squash. Today after morning tea it was room 3s turn to go to the Hall and there were some introductions there and the coaches names were Phil and Michael. They were our introductions for us and they told us the rules for it squash. The rules was if you hit the racket on them your out and your not allowed to hit the ball on the line. Phil put us into groups of 2 and then he put my group in Michaels group it is the one with the big court. There was another court is 3 times bigger then the court that we were playing on then we started and first one to play was kalo and victoria and the winner was kalo. Next was Stephanie’s turn to go and Kalo lost. After that we went with Phil and phil told us to come and asked us to bounce the ball and then catch it then he said you try it. After that we all done it so then I tried it and I didn't catch the ball. Then Phil said all come together and sit down so we can go back to class so then he said well this is it for squash so then he said look who’s the world’s championship in 2013 and after that Mrs G took us to class and then we started writing about Squash. Duffy Theatre

“Yay It’s Duffy Theater Today . On morning tea the 24th of September the whole school went to the Duffy theater but not room 7 because they went to rugby league, and also they asked us if we know he Duffy song and we all said yes and then after that they said all right lets sing it and then we sang the song and then when the song was finished they said by to us and the there was a girl and two boy’s and there names were  Afi,Duffy Scruffy and vautra .and Afi said so  we are going to play a samoan game and she said when I say patia you clap once and when I say lo pati you clap two times and she said ok let’s try it and we did and then we were finished then after that Scruffy came out and Duffy was looking for scruffy then scruffy came out and  was looking for Duffy so then they found each other.

Kids For Kids Recount :)

On a lovely evening on the 13th of September some of the kids from Room 3 went to the Kids for Kids concert. We had a practice in the afternoon and every one had to come because it was important.   They need to give food and money to the poor people and the people that went to Kids for Kids concert had to pay money and the money goes to the poor people.

Annalise, Alecia, Tokilupe, Ezra, Manu, Richie, Stephanie, Rosalina and me all went to the concert and the teachers came too. The teachers that came were Mrs Williams, Mr Coakley, Miss G, Mr Gaffney and his wife and Mrs Pole. It was very fun but I was the last one there because my mum went to Glen Innes to go and pick up my brother from school and when she came back it was already night time and my legs was shaking because I was so nervous and scared. There was a lot of people there and it was packed. When we got there Daynah said to line up so we could go on stage. She called our row number 2 then we went to the stage and when I looked up it was a lot of people there.  When we all sat down I was hot because the light was on us. A man said give it up for Jackie Clark and Nathan King and then all the audience were clapping for them. They came out and then they said hello to everyone. After that the first song we sang and the director came out and his name was Chris Clark, he had big bushy hair. He  was telling us to stop when it Wasn’t our turn because it was Nathan’s turn. When it was my turn to do the ukulele I was very nervous, but very proud of myself to perform in front of all those people.
